Dispute Disclaimer

Consumer Profile Bureau (Pty) Ltd is a registered Credit Bureau in terms of the National Credit Act No 34 of 2005 (NCA) with registration number NCRCB2.

By accepting this disclaimer, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions regarding the dispute of specific aspects of your consumer credit information in accordance with the NCA. You understand that this process may involve the collection, verification, and dissemination of your personal and financial information, which will be handled in compliance with applicable laws and regulations for the following reasons:

  1. My personal information
  2. Financial records.
  3. Recordings.
  4. Credit agreements.
  5. Other related documents.

Whilst CPB endeavours to assist you in resolving your dispute, we cannot guarantee any specific outcome regarding your credit profile. You remain responsible for monitoring your credit report and managing your own financial obligations.

Upon successful submission of your Dispute/Enquiry on CPB's Online Platform, you will immediately receive a SMS confirming that your request has been received and is currently undergoing verification. Within five business days, you will receive a second SMS containing a CPB reference number, confirming that the 20-day Dispute Process has commenced.
